Please Congratulate Angie Phillips Pathologists’ Assistant
Her nomination read: Angela has grown in her skill level and has become one of our stalwart grossers. She often stays late, even coming in on her days off, to help out the team and patients. She embodies professionalism, skill improvement and being a team player. She keeps the patient front and center every time. She has graciously taken on extra projects to maximize the L.E.A.N. process for the grossing department. She is a true pleasure to work with and deserves much appreciation.

Stephanie’s nomination read: She is available and eager to help throughout her shift. She make heroic attempts to solve the problems that are dumped on her; even when the problems may not exactly be in her purview. She is cheerful and friendly on the phone. It is such a pleasure to work with her. She truly exemplifies CellNetix values and is accomplishing our mission by working the small but important details of laboratory operations. Congratulations! His nomination read: When Greg Stiltner is around you can't help but smile and be in a good mood. He has done an amazing job as a courier in the south sound region. He has gone out of his way to help CellNetix build the business and retain our existing accounts. It is extremely helpful to have Greg as the eyes and ears of CellNetix. He has many connections to clinics in the south sound medical community and he has always been eager to promote CellNetix. He is friendly to co-workers and represents our company well with clients.

Her nomination read: Tiffany is an excellent candidate for team player of the month or year! Not only is she highly knowledgeable, she is kind hearted and sets an excellent example for her coworkers. I appreciate her and her willingness to help. Tiffany knows every niche of her job and shares that knowledge with her coworkers. We are all lucky to have her as a coworker, employee, and friend.

Her nomination read: Cortney takes on new assignments and multitasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. She is an energetic personality who goes out of her way to help others. She does lab chores which aren’t her direct responsibility but need to be done. She looks for ways to improve the department. She is definitely an asset to the laboratory.

Their nomination read: Both of these employees have been working tirelessly for 3 months to fill in the gap of a co-worker on leave. They are both working overtime almost daily with no complaints to make sure specimens are processed and analyzed as quickly and accurately as possible. Flow Cytometry continues to run smoothly because of their efforts. They are both truly team players to step up to this challenge for the sake of the company. Thanks for going above and beyond!

Please congratulate Jordanna Caputo, Lab Asst Olympia
Her nomination read: All specimens and slides go first to Jordanna and she handles each one as if it were her own family. Jordanna does not waver in her efforts to provide quality service and her strong commitment to the team philosophy. Staff are always asking her to help out because we know she rarely says she can't. Jordanna has high expectations of herself and carries that with her throughout the day. She is a key member of our Olympia Team.

 

March 2011 Team Player of the Month

Please congratulate Abbey Armstead, Support Services
Her nomination read: Abbey works 3 days a week (Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays) therefore only working 2 days a week with the other employees in support services but she makes a huge difference on the weekdays that she is here. She always takes on problems or issues and doesn't leave them unresolved. She is always diligently working and has a smile on her face. She is also very good on the phone.

 

February 2011 Team Player of the Month

Please congratulate Melissa Cox, Asst Site Supervisor, Everett Division
Her nomination read: Melissa recently stepped into the Assistant supervisor position and since then she has been a great motivation for the Everett division as she has already done so much to improve the morale of the staff up here and we all enjoy coming to work. Even though Melissa is now a site supervisor she comes to us with problems as equals and asks for our input on everything which makes us feel important to the success of the division. On top of all of the things Melissa now has to take on as a supervisor she is still always willing to help out her staff whether it is covering Pacific or digging in garbage bags alongside of us for a missing cassette. Melissa truly deserves to be the employee of the month.

Her nomination read: Cindy's nomination read: Cindy is always so pleasant on the phone with our clients. Even when the phone is ringing like crazy she answers each call as if they are the most important caller. She is willing to assist others when asked. She has a very calm nature and that helps when the day is so very busy. She is a team player and walks the CellNetix talk every day. She strives to maintain the highest of standards with her daily workload. She is reliable, honest and trustworthy. Congratulations!

Please congratulate Bill Rankin, LIS Administrator, Seattle
His nomination read: He is always helpful. We always need help in distribution and he helps us with a smile. No question is too small to ask. If he doesn't know the answer, which is not often, he can find it just like that. Also, in Sendouts he has helped with so many projects that it would take pages to list. I think that he goes beyond of what is expected and always goes the extra mile. I don't think I have ever seen him in the two years I have been here without a smile.

Lorna’s nomination read: She is a working machine. She has an incredible work initiative and self starting personality and is a great team player. She is usually the first person to jump up and help others complete their tasks. These attributes contribute to the overall efficiency of the whole department. I believe she deserves recognition for her influence on the success and reputation of the Histology department. Congratulations!

 

October 2010 Team Player of the Month

Please congratulate Kacey McPherson, Lab Asst, Seattle
Kacey’s nomination read: She is a fantastic worker. She volunteered to work an unpopular shift so that our pap TAT would improve, which it did. She trains other lab assistants. She makes no errors. She does whatever we ask. She does quality work. She helps other departments. Kacey is a real team player, willing to take on extra duties with a cheery disposition.  She assigns Path review cases through out the day and helps our TAT stats with her timelines and attention to detail.  Her help with the ThinPrep machines and understanding of error codes helps with communication back to Tech Support.

 

September 2010 Team Player of the Month

Please congratulate David Jensen, Lead Courier, Seattle
David has a very tough position as he covers for drivers from all three Cellnetix locations who are sick or on vacation.  This means he doesn't have a set route as all of the other couriers do, so his days start anywhere from 7am - 3:30pm, and ends between 3:30pm - 9pm.  Some days he doesn't even know until the morning of when he'll be working that day.  We all know that would be very hard on a person and their family life.  Dave also assists with dispatching and will calls on a daily basis, and through all of this never complains. Please congratulate Krista Szafranksi, Pathologists' Assistant(ASCP) Seattle
Her nomination read: Krista became part of the grossing staff just over a year ago at the most difficult transition of staffing we have ever had.  She is integral in training of new staff, fulfilling the daily grossing duties and assisting with special projects.  She is proactive in making sure that work is completed at all sites and stays late if needed all with a very pleasant attitude.  It is wonderful to have Krista as part of our team.

Please congratulate Marjorie Dubois, Cyto Lab Asst – Seattle and
Cherra Poole, Admin/Lab Asst – Centralia
Marge’s nomination read: Marge always comes in the door ready to work. She gladly helps where ever she is needed and tries to anticipate what needs done before it becomes a problem and if it does become a problem will try the best way to get it fixed. Marge gives her expertise in what she has learned about our department to new fellow workers and makes them feel at home and encourages everyone to do their best. She jumps in eagerly when we have a new client to learn the req's and what that client really needs and wants.
 
Cherra’s nomination read: Cherra has joined our CellNetix team at Providence Centralia Hospital with great enthusiasm, and has been instrumental in assuring a smooth transition to our new position here in Lewis County.  She has worked tirelessly throughout the transition process, and with her history and knowledge of the hospital and medical staff, she has been able to facilitate our rapid integration into this new medical community.  She is a cheerful face to our presence here, and an excellent ambassador for us.

Her nomination read: As part of the support staff, I feel good that when clients call the company with questions or needing assistance, that Kirstina will be one of the people helping them. She is always courteous, enthusiastic and helpful. I know she will follow-up on a problem that we are working together to solve and appreciate all the helps she gives us. She is always wiling to help and she does it with a smile on her face. She truly is a team player.

Her nomination read: Emma consistently strives to ensure her work is meticulously done.  She is very flexible and is often pulled in multiple directions.  She does so willingly and enthusiastically.  She maintains the utmost professionalism and strives to be the best she can be as a CellNetix representative.  Her personal work ethic is exceptional. As we continue to evolve, she has been responsible for training, projects, process improvements and more.  It is a pleasure to work with her and you can count on her to get her work done quickly and accurately.

Her nomination read: She is always ready to volunteer to do anything new, has good ideas and follows through when she takes them on.  She is willing to change her schedule, thinks of her fellow workers and has no problem driving to Grays Harbor to fill in when needed. Shelly has worked at Providence St. Peter for almost 20 years!

 

March 2010 Team Player of the Month

Please congratulate Heather Hon, Asst Controller
Starting in the 4th quarter of last year, Heather took on project management of the new Great Plains payroll/HR system. This was a major conversion to handling payroll in-house. With loss of two payroll staff in just a few months, Heather also took on processing the payroll in addition to her regular work. Thanks for keeping us paid!

Comments about Andre included: Andre has been so helpful making the CRM a useful tool for all CellNetix employees. Anytime that we have a suggestion for him on how he could make it better, he takes our suggestion and implements it immediately. He listens to our concerns and looks for ways to improve the system. Andre is always happy, willing to help out and he has a smile on his face.

Pleae congratulate Brett Saltmarsh, Lab Asst, Seattle
 Queen of Slide Distribution!  All hail! Is how part of her nomination read. Brett has been integral in connecting histology with CellNetix offsite locations.  She is creative in helping new processes develop; she worked with Pat to setup the Slide Distribution program.  Always a positive person she is missed in histology and the satellites when she is on vacation.  She is the first person that most people contacting histology speak with and is very helpful.

What was said about her: Glenda is always willing to lend a hand in ANY situation. Even if she is not completely familiar with the task, she is always eager to learn or help in any way she can! She comes to work with a smile on her face everyday and makes the most out of every situation. You can see the faces around her light up when she comes to work! I think she definitely exemplifies our Mission, Vision, and Values by sharing her positive attitude everywhere she goes and by her willingness to get the job done right every time!

His nomination read: In the short period he has been supervising the Everett Division there has been a marked decrease in the number of errors coming from these locations and an increase in standardization.  His teams are actively cross-training.  At the same time, his team, doctors and clients seem to get along well with him and respect his choices.He is quick to respond to a request and finishes what he says he will do.

Cate joined CellNetix last November when NW Pathology became part of the company. She is a can-do person, always willing to take on a task and dedicated to doing it right. She accommodated a shift change to help with later courier routes. She has taken charge of implementing changes to the histology accessioning area to better organize and account for problem specimens. She also makes great cookies!

Irma has been with CellNetix since the lab opened in Seattle 2 years ago. Comments from her nomination include: She is dedicated to preparing the best possible non-gyn specimens for review by our cytotechs and pathologists. She has a high degree of pride in her work, and never compromises quality. She is an outstanding trainer who communicates well with lab assistants at all locations. She helps with supply ordering, accessioning, and specimen intaking. Irma is very available to answer cytology questions, and will go out of her way to troubleshoot problem specimens. You can trust that when she is on the case every option will be exhausted in process of resolution. Congratulations!

Mike joined CellNetix in early 2008. Since that time he has shown himself to be a team player. He is always willing to help as shown by his filling in as needed when a courier is out or there is a special run that needs to be done. His nomination also read, "he is courteous and believes communication is the key to success." Thanks to Mike for making CellNetix a better place to work.

 

May 2009 Team Player of the Month

Please congratulate Patty Hopps, Pathology Coordinator, as the May Team Player of the Month
Patty has been with CellNetix since February 1995. Patty provides many services for our pathologists. She handles the day-to-day operations for them, helps with co-path and PowerPath questions and deals with the various difficult QA issues. She is the go-to person. She is constructive and creative about problem solving. In addition to her other duties, Patty is graciously filling in as the site supervisor in Everett.

What do people say about Sherri? She is always available to answer questions and is very knowledgeable. If she doesn’t know the answer she will follow through and let you know about it. She is friendly and nice. Sherri is the strongest advocate for walking, talking and following the mission, vision and values. She shows dedication to whatever task she is given.
