Dr. Jordan attended medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University, School of Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where she graduated Cum Laude.  She completed an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and was a surgical pathology Resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.  Dr. Jordan holds Board certifications in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology.

CellNetix is excited to announce that Dr. Jey-Hsen, M.D., PH.D. has joined our pathology group at our Seattle location.

Dr. Chen attended Mayo Medical School and is Board certified in Anatomic pathology and Hematopathology. He completed several residencies at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, including two years in Anatomic pathology, one year in Hematopathology and six months each in Cardiovascular, Pulmonary and Renal pathology.

A recent article published Tuesday, July 20th, 2010 in The New York Times titled “Prone to Error: Earliest Steps to Find Cancer” (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/20/health/20cancer.html?_r=1) describes a woman’s breast cancer misdiagnosis when an inexperienced pathologist reviewed her breast biopsy. This article brings to light the importance of patient education; knowing the experience and expertise of pathologists and why it is important to ask your oncologist about your pathologist.
