Cellnetix Hematopathologists use flow cytometry for clinical diagnostic testing of hematopoietic and lymphoid disorders. Our flow cytometer is capable of simultaneously examining 6 different antigens, allowing for a high level of sensitivity in identifying abnormal populations. By use of appropriate antibody panels, flow cytometry can identify the cell type (hematopoietic, lymphoid, or nonhematopoietic), cell lineage (B- and T cell, plasma cell, natural killer cell, myeloid/monocytic), cell maturation stage (precursor vs. mature), and B-cell and plasma cell clonality by assessment of immunoglobulin light chain expression.  Dr. Kristin Mantei is the Cellnetix Director of Flow Cytometry.
