Nuria Perez-Reyes, M.D.

Dr. Perez-Reyes has extensive experience as lecturer for Cytopathology and Fine Needle Aspiration(FNA) teaching conferences. She has given several Grand Rounds and regional conferences on new technology in Pap tests including liquid-based Pap tests, HPV testing, and the Bethesda System for Pap test reporting. Dr. Perez-Reyes has published a wide range of topics relating to research activities including cervical human papillomaviruses, immortalization of human smooth muscle cells, breast FNAs, and Pap tests. Dr. Perez-Reyes joined the pathology group in 1999.

Dr. Perez-Reyes attended medical school at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology. She was fellowship trained in Cytopathology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, New York, where she was also an instructor and Assistant Attending Pathologist.
