Ellen S. Pizer, M.D., Ph.D.

After graduating magna cum laude in Biology from Harvard University, Dr. Pizer obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She went on to earn her Graduate Ph.D. by completing the Medical Scientist Training program at the same institute. Dr. Pizer then began her tenure at the Johns Hopkins institutions completing her internship, residency, and a two-year fellowship in Gynecological Pathology and Molecular Pathology. Dr. Pizer joined the faculty of Johns Hopkins University, where she practiced Surgical Pathology with Gynecological Pathology emphasis, and conducted research in cancer cell biology.

 

Dr. Pizer joined our Seattle pathology group in 2003. She is board certified in Anatomic Pathology. She holds additional sub-specialty expertise in Gynecologic Pathology and Placental Pathology
