CellNetix was featured as the diagnostic expert on Q13 News, Tuesday, October 30th! Watch the clip "Health Alert (Cancer
Misdiagnosis)". As the new lab gets up and running, CellNetix hosted Q13 reporter Angela King for a story focusing on how crucial the right equipment, quality control, and the right pair of eyes behind the microscope lens is to getting the right diagnosis. We took the camera through the life of a specimen within our walls, from the application of a barcode through the creation of a slide, all the way to diagnosis by one of our sub-specialty trained pathologists.

Breast cancer survivor Beth Bacon joined the group to speak about her experience being diagnosed and treated. Medical Director Matthew Horton discussed the importance of pathology on the road to treatment, and how simple innovations, like the CellNetix barcode system for tracking specimens, can make the difference in eliminating the possibilities for error.
