Each CellNetix location has a local CellNetix Cares Committee. These committees consists of employees who work with their co-workers to see that kind of event(s) they might wish to participate in to support their local community.
- Support for Haiti. In exchange for participting in the Best Company To Work For Survey, we donated $10 for every employee who completed a survey. We had 139 employees participate so we donated $1,390 to the Red Cross.
- The Seattle location participated in the Swedish SummeRun to raise money to benefit the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research. Employees and their family ran a 10K or 5K or walked a 5K.
- In September, a team of CellNetix employees participate in the AIDS Walk for Lifelong AIDS Alliance.
- Several times a year we collect non-perishable goods for NW Harvest and during the holiday, toys for Toys For Tots.
- We also support the Puget Sound Blood Bank in connection with Swedish Hospital by giving blood once a quarter.
- To help our own employees in need, we have created a Shared Leave Bank. Employees can donate paid time off to help an employee who has a serious health condition or an employee who has a spouse or child with a serious health condition who may not have enough paid time off accrued to take care of themselves or their family member.
- Each of our locations also makes monetary contributions to the various charities supported by our partner hospitals.
- When we work with outside physicians who discount their services due to the patient’s inability to pay regular fees, we will discount our services by the same percentage through our charity care program in order to help ensure that people have access to the care they need.
